Candy is an oddball. Unlike other dragons, Candy loves to make friends and keeps coming up with new ways for everyone to smile. And for that, Candy gets into and out of trouble (oh-so-much!). But, all the trouble makes Candy a 'candier' dragon. Through the course of the story, Candy learns to be brave and no longer has the urge to 'fit in'- something that most readers will relate to.
